Really? does everyone really think the new sti is ugly?

I think its a big improvement in styling.

 

^ the front looks like an evo 9 mixed with subbie, side looks sort of like the evo X, but the rear has KIA written all over it... being an assman myself, I would not tap that :P

 

+1 on the rear, i do admit that the rear bumper is ugly ugly ugly. But the rest of the car is sexy sexy sexy

I think its the Blue Sti pic that everyone has seen that makes them not like it.

When you see it in white it looks 100times better

 

Nope, I love my X and enjoy being one of the only ones around.

 

Its that ricetastic back end, man. The red looks pretty awful too.
I love the rims in the pics you just posted, but there is nothing that can make the sedan look good. Buy hatch or walk, LOL.

The arch from the front fenders flowing under the headlights just looks busy & akward and the rear end looks like it came from the Kia/Saturn parts bin. There is nothing clean at all about the looks of this car. If you are the type of person that loves juvenile, gaudy body kits then I can see you liking this car but most mature buyers prefer a cleaner look. The EVO X isn't a thing of beauty (no EVO or STi has ever been) but the lines are clean which is why Mitsubishi hasn't had to make any styling changes outside of the side skirts.

 

Subaru screwed the front of the car up in 2006..then screwed up everything else in 2008...and now screwed it up further with the 2011. Sorry, I'm all about the X now...the 2005 STi I owned was their best shot.

 

I'm definately not liking the Nissan Senta taillights.

I forsee this thread getting merged into another one of some sort...the Subaru's have been falling further and further behind the Evo's in my books. I like the older ones a lot, but each year i like them less. The hatches have grown on me recently so I would way rather have one of those over the new sedans, barf.

Still for performance, Evo wins every time...
