Great looking car. I miss having a sports car and want to get rid of my Tundra, although I love it. Did they give you actual trade in value for the Tundra? If so I may have to go visit that dealer, im only a few hours from Houston.

Evo X

Thanks for the words! I had originally wanted WW but they could not locate one anywhere and GG was my next choice. I got lucky, the dealer had only three left...1 GG and 2 RR. I knew I was going to lose money on the deal ( tradin) the dealer really worked with me though. I was actually going to drive up North to get my Evo but Gilman gave a better deal! I can't wait til Buschur comes out with the BR350 package.

You took the correct path with the GG. (warning: this post may be biased as I own a GG GSR... lol so many Gs... back on topic).

All I can say is that WW looks the best in photos, undoubtably. I wanted the WW at first. But fortunatelly living in a burb of chicago there were plenty of dealers with every color and so i did some calling around and driving around.

I saw the GG, OB, WW, RR and Silver. OB was my second choice, as I had the 08 lancer GTS in Electric Blue and LOVED it. I had the fortune of seeing a WW, RR, OB and Silver all at the same time at a dealership. And, comedically, actually thought the Silver looked the best (it looked more classy to me).

Anyway, then went to one last dealership to check out the GG, and they also had a silver (which was perfect for my comparison as I had liked the silver the best to that point). Pretty obvious where I'm going by now, the GG is stunning in person. I knew that was the color I wanted.

There's just something subtle about the slight difference between the dark grey and the black trim that makes the "powerful" features of the car stand out. And I also love the subtlety because its a car that will kick your ***, but isn't all flashy.

ANYWAY, you chose the correct path with GG man, trust me.

Thanks for the comments!

I saw all the colors in person myself and liked the WW and GG! My wife really wanted me to get the WW, she also drives a manual. My wife fussed and asked why I didn't get the RR or the WW and when I pulled up in the driveway she actually liked the GG! I think I will like the GG more and more. Now all I need is for someone to post pics of the GG with aftermarket Volks! Later.

Absence makes the heart grow fungus.

Just think how fun it'll be once you do get back behind the wheel...

Gilman @ 59 and Beltway

I didn't see any IX's there....perhaps out of X's as well. Good luck on your search for a IX!
