Getting an evo, hopefully soon...

Okay, so I went to my dealership, and after not being very helpful in the past, they seemed to be pretty good, and quite helpful this time. They even searched and found me a gray gsr with sss that they can get for me within a few days.

But the price he quoted, I feel like I'm being dicked around...

Here's what the price is:
$35,680
+$250 -- some "dealer fee"
+$495 -- for transport
=========
$36,424
-$500 -- recent graduate discount
-$500 -- mitsu appreciation discount
=========
$35,424 final price.

So seems like not only I'd have to pay the transport fee and the "dealer" fee, but additional $750 markup.... It doesn't seem fair, does it?

Seems like he should have quoted me less? The final price seems okay, but only because of the mitsubishi dicounts. I think a grand less would have been a better price...

What do you guys think...?

Well, wouldn't they charge me an ungodly transport fee since I live in OK?

This is what you should pay (from South Coast):

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=329108
"March Madness!!! Evo Prices Slashed
GSR Base
MSRP $33,655
$30589

GSR SSS
MSRP $35,655
$32,239

Factory Installed Navi Add MSRP $1,999
$1,675

Factory Installed Aero Add MSRP $1,999
$1,590

Factory Installed Interior Sport Kit Add $399.00
$280.00

Factory Installed Wind Deflector Add $85.00

Looks like you're going to be paying MSRP.

Link to figure out shipping costs:

Would probably cost you around $600 or $700 (just a guess).

I'm going to see if I can use south coast mitsu as a bargaining chip.... Otherwise I might just give them a call .
