Mitsu Mud Flaps Installed
I agree that the rear ones kill the look a bit... We don't have Hi-Res pictures to juge though... I will probably opt for 2 cheap front ones... Anyways, thanks for being the dummy who installed them first.
My roommate got an Impreza recently and I could definitely tell the difference on highway trips once he got his rear flaps installed.
I would feel bad zipping around town knowing that I am responsible for a bunch of the window chips in the city
Thanks for the pics. I like the look, especially with the silver at the bottom and the lettering. Gives it that bad *** off roader touch to it.
Glad it comes with 4. Ill be telling my dealer to make sure these are on my car when it arrives once I put down that deposit.

I do have the aero kit, I still get plenty of splatter on the side of my car though. I don’t drive much maybe 100 miles a week and I wash the car once a week. After just 100 miles, I have black specks all over the side of my car, where the common rock chip area is. Luckily they wash off though and I haven’t found any rock chips, yet. Whoever said the aero kit protects the side of the car is mistaken.
I really don't want to say this but I for some reason prefer the autozone ones better and they are much cheaper to boot. The shiny portion on the rear reminds me of jeepneys in the PI.
Just my opinion because I can see it does not flow with the overall design and character of the EVO. I'll be getting the Autozones for sure and not wait for the Mitsu parts.

This pic was taken from the Japanese 2008 Lancer Evolution X Accessories Brochure (pdf), so it looks like there are a few different variations of these mud flaps. I personally, like the all black ones
They look great and relate to the cars true rally heritage, plus they fulfill a real functional purpose. Maybe when, or if, Mitsu start rallying again, others might be converted.
