Mitsu Mud Flaps Installed
Mitsu Mud Flaps Installed
I got them in yesterday and installed them this morning. The install was pretty easy and straight forward. Just had to drill one hole in the splash shield for the front flaps. It looks like one rear is not completely straight, and I need to mess with it some more. Photos are not very clear, as all I have is my camera phone.

They look good! In your opinion was it worth it (cost wise), or would 3mm clear film do the job just as well? (I'm trying to weigh the options out in my mind as to what I should do.)
Is it just me, or does the front one look exactly like the cheap Autozone solution posted in the paint thread? The rear ones look a little strange with just that bit of silver poking out under the car. Still worth it to stop the paint chips, though...

I paid $155 from MitsubishiParts.net
This option is a lot cheaper then 3m clear tape. Not sure how well it works, time will tell. These tires shoot rocks up like no other. I drive about 5mph through neighborhood, damn kids.

I cant be the only one here who thinks that those mud flap look like complete and total ***. The 5 dollar one's from the other thread look better than these. To me it takes away from the car instead of enhancing it.
I'd be inclined to only put the front ones on, since they aren't as noticeable and they are only really needed on the front anyway (because of the rear side skirt/fender flare area that seems to get chipped up from te front tires). Either way, enjoy.
