This might be the only dealer without a WW

 

I've always thought Evos were masculine...

 

I called every dealership in a 4-5 state radius of Ohio, and only 6 had or expected a WW X. Unless you're on the west coast is appears WW is impossible to find, if the midwest is any indication. Around here every other X is red. Some dealerships got 4-5 red ones, and that's all they got.

 

i love the thread title. they look good, but i still have an addiction to 4g63 so im still not too sure about them.

 

I wish I had more evo 's to sell ... They are lucky

 

good info...any reason as to why? are they all spoken for or produced in limited quantites

 

WW is rare, they only had one here...but that is the one I wanted. It isn't that there is a lot of WW which is why you see them...it is because when they have even one that is what people prefer to buy most of the time.

 

All but the X's are. lol

 

white is the best color.. its so hard to get a white evo in the midwest... i tried to get a white evo 9 and it was impossible

 

I can't say for sure, but I know that as soon as I asked about a white one most of the dealerships went into a tirade about how they're being treated as second-class dealerships on the Xs, and basically just get whatever is left over after the coasts have their pick. In this case, it appears what is left over is usually red. And usually loaded, as any color without at least Aero+SSS is very hard to find. It's not limited to just white, either, I had a hard time tracking down a gray one to look at also. I wanted to see every color before I chose, but had to give up on seeing black.

Only one dealership I talked to was willing to come down from sticker, and the rest laughed at me when I said I'd rather just buy below invoice and have it shipped. So that's what I did, and bought the last WW one South Coast had... which I should hopefully have in a week or two. They probably get new deliveries pretty often, though.

 

Given the attitude and selection at the eastern dealers, it sounds like I could sell my WW no option GSR EvoX for a profit on the east coast. Not planning on it though, unless I end up not liking it. If that happens I'll prob trade it for an 08 STI.

 

Lucky, our local dealership hasn't even gotten an X yet.

 

Man I am glad I am stationed in San Antonio now. I really dislike the snow.

I have been a long time lurker but this is my first post! I live in Columbus, OH and picked up a WW X a week ago. I went to Ricart (for those who now the area/dealer) they didn’t have a white one and were not going to get one so they dealer trader for the one I wanted! The two guys I dealt with were great in finding what I wanted, WW with SSS, Aero and Interior package. I also got my car for $1,800 under MSRP so needless to say I am happy! (I know I could have done a little better if I had gone to the West coast but for being in the Midwest I feel I have done pretty well). By the way I leased mine!

If you guys are in the Midwest and are interested in picking up an X just PM me and I will give you the contact info for the two guys I dealt with. They will do their best to get you what you want.
