2009 Evo X?

Is there going to be a 2009 EvoX? Or are they jipping us the same way they jipped us with the 06 with stopping it in 06?

Does anyone forsee any changes in the 09 from the 08 if there is a new one?

Any answer to your questions would be pure speculation unless it comes from a Mitsubishi insider. Any insiders care to chime in?

Maybe an 09 EXO X RS too? Would be nice to see a lighter version with steering more like the EVO IX...

Um no. Id expect the 09 to be the same as the 08, just like the 03 and 04s were basically the same.

Blame the government with side impact airbag standards for cars starting with the 2007 model year. The rest of the world got one more model year of the IX.

Oh yea, except the Lotus Elise/Exige, that car was given the free pass.

Hopefully they will pay some attention to the tranny and clutch in the X - maybe offer a smooth-shifting 6-speed for it. Subaru can do it, why can't Mitsu?
