I took the X out to an SCCA event today

I took out the X today and she done real well. The course had a lot of small rocks on it.....almost sand like....Couple things that i noticed......as it was said earlier if you stay on the gas and point the car IT WILL GO WHERE you point it. but if you are in a really tight turn where you cant always be on the gas(think right before the apex) the car will push through the turn but as soon as you get back on the gas it pulls it right back into your line. but only when you are on the gas hard. Another thing I noticed is that this car is geared perfectly for this type of driving. at least IMHO

I hope what i just said made sense but on with the pictures

There are a lot more pictures(about 40 or so) but I am not going to bore you with them all unless someone really wonts to see them

The X is a much better looking car than the VIII/IX, in my opinion; and I drive a VIII...

Yeah it was a timed event.....I did O.K. as this is the first time out with this car so I am still tring to get a feel for it and how it reacts to diffrent situations......just for reference my fastest of the five runs was aroun 54.5?? there was a lot of Mazda miatas there and they were around the same times on R-compounds. The fastest of the day was a 03 M3 and he did a 47.???. I dont know what all modifications he had but he did have slicks, an exhaust, and what sounded like an intake. The car definately is quicker I just got to get used to how the car reacts and LIKES to be driven

Car looks good out there.

A bit of body roll but for a stock car it looks about the same as my very modified STi's suspension. for my STi but for the Evo.

Armor All (or any tire dressing) isn't the best thing to use on your tires for an autocross. Doesn't exactly make your coefficient of friction very high.

However, it does make the tires look good.

If your rolling onto your sidewalls during an autocross, you are not running the proper tire pressures....
