to get the side bars to move, turn very hard, and you'll see the curvy bars move. to see the middle bar move, somehow lose traction on your front or rear tires, and make your differential work. Try flooring it in water/snow? thats how i saw mine move. If you go flying off a hill/bump, you should see the middle bar move a bit too, but make sure you are going straight before you land funny.

Coasting a sharp turn won't do it. You have to be accelerating and turning at the same time. Take a turn easy and hit the gas to exit and you will see it.

Cool!

I finally got my display to change yesterday - it's the first time it's rained since I had my EVO X. And I also observed that coasting doesn't do it.

Does this car have any passive skid control that's active while coasting? Or only when applying gas?

for the center diff display put it in gravel on a rainy day and let her rip in the straight line. for the yaw display to activate accelerate out of a turn (like everyone else says) kind of like you're trying to get the back end to break loose in a rwd car (not the best advice but i am no road racing expert either).

So if my centre display is showing one bar beneath and one above on fairly hard, but not brutal acceleration, on a dry road, then two of my tyres have given up the ghost? My fronts are rather shot after only 6900 miles, and I did take it drag racing today...

I have noticed that when I floor it in 1st onto a hill part of my local highway, even in dry weather, the center will light up 1 or 2 bars up and down. Also, if you want to see the sides light up a little, while driving normally ( not too fast!) jerk the wheel to one side slightly, you will see 1 bar in the opposite direction of the way you jerked, and then the opposite of that will light up (I suppose from it bouncing back and forth)
