I guess it couldn't hurt to take it in. I doubt they'll do anything, but at least it will be noted in your service record.

I'm coming from a 68 Camaro. I have heat, A/C, power windows, power door locks, fuel injectors and tons of other buttons and whistles. Those are the good things I've found. Haha.

I had a peek at the underside of a few X's at the dealer, the lighting was not so good, so I can not be sure, but there were possible traces of rust around the muffler.

Look underneath a new, undriven Mustang GT and for that matter, a few other American cars. Rust is on a lot of stuff. Numerous suspension pieces have no paint just iron oxidizing.

mine looked like that when i bought it. Its just surface rust. Evo 9 mufflers looked exactly the same, so do 99% of new cars

You have had the car TWO months and are worried about the muffler rusting, of all things? I dont see anything to be concerned about in those pics, at all.

Yes it concerns me, See how its uneven, the muffler is sitting sideway, Its a white shinny car, with a rusty can in back that people who is in lower cars can see real clear, It just looks bad, Its didn't concern me on my VIII or 9 because the muffler
sits the normal way. It would'nt concern me if no one would have notice it, My
brother was following me in his NSX and he saw it and notice it, The point is
someone can see it, it just "looks" bad..
