Damn it, I still think that if you re-flash at the dealer you will lose the potential the MBC mods and tunes are giving.

 

yea but a tune or piggy back will still change the ECU no matter if you get the reflash or not!

 

Tell your dealership to call the Stohlman Mitsubishi in Tysons Corner, VA. They are re-flashing mine on tuesday. They have the new flash software downloaded as of yesterday.

 

Sounds good, car is going to the shop monday for some other stuff, Ill tell them to look into it.

Tell them to look up TSB 08-13-006. I called my dealer this morning and asked about the reflash and they had nothing except for some issue that would cause the car to take a while to go back to idle.

So I called back with the TSB and they found it and I made an appointment for Monday.

 

im set for monday. also the stealership i bought it from set me up but are like 60 miles away, i called the one closest to me and they acted like it didnt exist put me on hold and asked what is your car doing ? i read from the list that was posted they made me an apointment on mon i feel basically they were not going to fix it. unless i was getting codes. im going to tell them i want to see proof they did the job. after the treatment i received on the phone. my guess is if they look to see the codes which never happend then they might just say they flashed it. the codes are saved correct ? as i was reading the problems the tech said are these actually happening or are you reading this off the computer lol !!

 

I just made my appointment to get looked out..They are going to check out the trans as well..

 

WEll since says they can verify that the ECU has been flashed or reflashed, this proof should be easy to accomplish. Or maybe not....

 

My dealer has not contacted me over this. You would think if it was a problem they would got on the phone with a serious look on their face.

yeah funny thing is both stealerships deneid it existing. i call my buying dealer back 10 minutes later and they all the sudden know about it *** hats. then the one closest to my house acts like it doesnt exist. i ***** get put on hold rep cmes back and says whats wrong with the car. i tell him it runs like garbage and i want to lemmon law it and before i know it im set up for an apointment. HA !!!
