Mitsubishi April Reflash

I have seen several people on evom mention that there will be a reflash available from Mitsubishi available sometime in April. I understand that this is supposed to clear up some of the driveability issues and the idling problems. I know there are a few Mitsubishi technicians lurking around. Can someone that works for Mitsubishi share with us when this will be available and what EXACTLY the fix targets. I would love to see some official Mitsubishi documentation on this or at least a few quotes from the tech document related to this.

I think the real question is: Will there really be a reflash?

^+1. I don't think that mitsu is really gonna do anything, it's just rumors of good service that doesn't exist from them. Good cars, bad service.

Just got back from the dealer. Had the tech call Mitsu Techline with regaurds to this issue as well as the trans. problem. He said they are in the process of creating a TSB or recall for the trans but nothing about the reflash.

here you go

I got the call this morning from my tech at southcoast that the factory reflash has arrived. I hauled *** over there and within a half hour I had the first reflash from the factory installed in California. The X is now a EVO !! It idles smooth (750rpm) ,revs cleanly to 7500rpm(just a hair over that and the rev limiter kicks in). I have a few mods on the car right now (straight exhaust and a cone filter) and the reflash seems to like them. Im putting a mbc on tomoro and a boost control. The performance is great and im not pissed anymore about a my purchase.

Can anyone else back up this claim. My Mits Dealer hasn't heard a thing about a TSB or any update to their Scan tools for a new flash.

Honda dealerships were the same way for my SI when the reflash came out for it. Some get it weeks before others.
