If the gearing slowed the car down at the end of the quarter, then it's plausible. An extra 200-300lbs shouldn't offset the power::weight THAT much though.

IMHO, it's just not an impressive track time for 442whp, but that's not AGPs fault.

Congrats AGP for the fastest quarter-mile time so far!!

AGP makes some great stuff and they got impressive numbers out of the X with minimal bolt-ons.

The gearing is def playing a factor here as is the 300lbs difference. Right of the bat that 300lbs. is going to slow you down an estimated .30 seconds in the quarter. Anyone have a link to the gear ratios or can you post them up? It seems like it is making a huge difference in trap speeds.

Internals have not been touched. It hasn't even had an oil change yet.

Right.

No matter how you look at it though, the weight and gearing hinders the X in the quarter-mile. That was my point.

LOL! Awesome that this engine is proving to be a great platform!

Any chance you can post some pics of that 20G? The dyno graphs look pretty nice, dynopak tends to read a little high but the numbers are still damn impressive.

I love all the X hate.

Lets all take a breather. Now think for a second... Is the evo a drag car? no

Seriously, if your so worried about the quarter mile times for whatever horespower then go buy a different car. Yes awd launches are fun. But awd turns are more fun.

This car is a track car. More power is allways welcome. But stop whining and or making useless comments about how the X is slower then the 8/9. X has AYC, 8/9 don't. AYC wheighs a good amount but makes up for it easilly on the track. I'd rather have the faster track car then drag car and hence why I bought an X.

Good work AGP and don't listen to the useless jealous/hater posts.

The 20g looks like stock...it's in the stock housing.

As far as DynaPack reading high...it does... comared to MD and DD, but I match up within 1% with dynojet. I have proven it with my 670hp 8 back in the day, all the way down to 120hp hondas.

weird i thought you guys were on a dynojet... I got my dynojet done last week fully stock and they read my car at 272/299 whp/tq. i'm getting the flash done on thursday and going back to them on fri to see what kind of a difference that makes. car had 2600 miles on it when i got it dyno'd.

i will post the comparison between preflash and flashed though on friday. I'm also talking about the tsb reflash

I'd say that's pretty good give or take...we had 262hp...281tq (roughly) with 40 or so miles on it. I think you have the highest stock numbers I have seen...what were the ambient conditions?
