Sorry I should have been more specific. The dealership called me regarding my order. They wanted to notify me that the Evolution X MR will not be arriving into San Francisco until July. My first response was "delayed again?" and they replied saying that Mitsubishi was bought by another company. Apparently Mitsubishi was going bankrupt. Now news... could vary... I mean it is a Import Company.

Any ideas if this is true?

Unless he has some top secret insider knowledge, that's a load of BS. There's nothing in the news of a Mitsubishi buyout. The only news I see is that Mitsubishi Corp. stock got a bump today.

My bad, sorry. I wasn't trying to make anyone mad. I just got the call today and wanted to get some ideas or opinions about it. Sorry.

Mitsu almost went bankrupt a few years ago but Chrysler saved them from doing so! I do believe Mitsubishi is one of the largest cooperation's in the world, and the biggest in Japan! They weren't bought... and their cars are doing decent... everyone's down right now including Toyota and Honda, the US economy is slow. Mitsu is fine, the dealer was prolly bought.

P.S. Mitsu makes everything from TV's, floor jacks, heaters, AC units, cars, planes you name it Mitsu makes it! Their in good shape and their stock price was up last time I looked.
