Thanks guys, really means a lot. I've had various test drives from my friends who own an 04 STI, WV 1.8 T Golf and 03 SRT-4. The STI is on par with the EVO and I've noticed no real difference, once the turbos start to work their magic both cars firmly place you in your seat! I talked to the guys at Medina and they said it looks as though the MR will be released in June, it was May but Mitsu delayed it's US release. I would defiantly make the trip up here to check them out, they'll keep working with you until both sides come out with an agreement.

I've actually been looking at RECARO baby seats lol, that would totally tie the car together. I finally had the chance to show all my friends the X, everyone was floored and wanted to test drive it. I plan on keeping this car until the engine will no longer turn, first time I've ever been this satisfied with a car. On a side note, all EVO are great, each have their disadvantages and advantages. I would never infringe on anyones car. Thanks again guys, I'll tell my daughter about all the nice comments in the morning. Goodnight...

P.S. No matter what gen EVO you drive we must all stick together! BTW I seen an STI totaled on route 21 tonight, looked as though it had rear ended an on coming car, what a shame!

By the way medina mitsubishi want's me to come and get the MR when it get's here from them.
I see your current ride is an 03 Cobra. I traded in, at Medina Mitsu, a black 03 Cobra Convertable for my 08 GG GSR. Different car, but I feel it was the right thing to do, especially during the winter months here in Ohio. As of right now, the only two things I miss are the exhaust note from my Bassani catbacks (which I will be fixing with the ETS Dual Exhaust ASAP ) and dropping the top on a sunny day (this, I can not fix ). You will enjoy the Evo if you get it and like I posted before, Medina Mitsubishi was a great dealership. Good luck!

Thanks once again guys, I really feel as though I belong to the KOOLEST CAR KLUB lol. T8kdown I believe I've seen your Mustang over there? Medina Mitsu told me I was the 4th person to purchase the X, I guess they other guy drove from the PA area, I bet he's on here somewhere??? But there was a Mustang convertible on the lot, I didn't get a good chance to look it over to see if it was a Cobra, but it could very well be.

LMAO I showed my wife the Recaro baby seats as a way to try to sell her on the car. Didn't work out but I ended up with an Evo X anyway.
Congrats on your car glad to hear you love it.

Yeap that's my ride, the apex silver which was sitting in the showroom. The recaro baby seats rock, I'm going to purchase one that reclines so my daughter can relax in style. I've never received so many thumbs up and smiling faces due to a car (in my entire life), great feeling and once again thanks for the compliments as well.

P.S. Anyone have zylon (spelling???) applied to their X?

They put that stuff on mine. Don't know if it really works, but it has kept the car looking really good.

Yeah it's on mine as well, you can actually spray paint the car, come back after 8 hours and whip the paint clean. It's impervious to soapy water though, I tried spray the car down and the soap just rolled off the car haha. I'll post some more pictures tonight, I'm install mud flaps, we'll see how this turns out.

P.S. Did they advise you not to wax the car?

They didn't tell me anything about it, just that they put it on for me, for free . I didn't ask, either,so I don't know much about it?? I haven't tried to wax it, however, so I guess I need to look into that.

Did you get any info on it??
