Finally picked up my black beasty this morning

And I ****ing hate it!
Not the car the bloody running in procedure
3500rpm for the first 250miles is an absolute ball ache. I have to get it straight out of 1st as soon as Im moving and then have to watch the rev counter more than I do the road. This car is aching to be let off its leash. I had a bloody white van behind me on the way home looking puzzled at why i was driving so slowly and creeping past tractors

First impressions are brilliant though. Feels even bigger than when I drove it at Prodrive but very light and accurate steering and a responsive even under 3000rpm. I can hear the turbo starting to spool and sound tasty and then I have to lift off the throttle! Its so frustrating. It feels like Ive been trying to date a hot bird for months and when she finally agrees I find out she has a chastity belt on until I pass some more tests. Patience is not on of my strengths. Roll on 1000miles so I can Unleash Hell

After seeing this car in person, and seeing one perform on the track, I want one. Not badly enough to sell my IX, but in conjunction to it? FOR SURE.

The car is broken in within the first few miles and heat cycles. Break it in like you intend to drive it!

Break in procedure = worthless imo, I was redlining it all the way out of the dealership.
