Another satisfied SouthcoastMit customer!

So after months of thinking and planning i finally got rid of the GTS and got a base WW evo X!! im soo happy! my first evo! and coming back from havent drivin stick in a loooong time. can u smell the clutch burning? anyways like their ad SMASH! Southcoast gave me a pretty good deal for the GTS and evoX! ill try to get pics later on...wanna get it as dirty as possible then wash it.

so here's the question..

1) 1 to 2 shifting, is that normal?!?! X owners know what im talking about. Can it be fix?

2) during break-in period. do i driving below 60? or below 5k?

3) good BOV? an adjustable one. the wifes already afraid of the car

4) ASC on or off? and how do you know? please explain

more questions will come later

1st to 2nd is normal, you'll adapt to it's pickiness! Tac it up, break it in a little, I wouldn't launch or rip on it to much though! I always drive with ASC, ALWAYS! Congrats, I too went from the GTS to EVO X.

stay below 5k... always warm up the car... if you are on the street keep asc on...and if you must just hit the button which will turn off asc unless you step on the breaks...(holding it down turns it off completely)..now if you are off road...ASC deffinatly needs to be off!

They gave me 17k for my GTS, I had 9k on her and the 1, 2 problem is a driver issue, not transmission related issue, the smoother and faster you release the clutch the better it feels, I still jump it around from time to time, it's going to take some practice.

It's not a driver issue, it's trans related. sure there's ways to make it smoother, but it's the car. It goes away after some shifting in mine.

is this title misleading? If you're a satisfied customer tell us why. If you have questions about the X search.

I no longer have the issue unless I'm not paying attention to my clutch work, not to mention the higher the revs the less jerk.

I didn't do my research and went to Huntington Beach Mitsu instead. I got the Evo X GSR with SSS for 33K out the door which is not bad. But I've heard South Coast has been more aggressive, giving free Wind Deflectors etc..
