Thoughts on a sunroof or moon roof

I'm just curious to know how everyone would feel if the X had a moon roof or moon roof.

Or if future models had a roof option.

love it or hate it?

I would get one if it was an option for no more than $1k. It's a nice little perk, but I wont miss one.

I thought I could never live without one, until my current car. It's not as a big deal as I thought it would be. Plus, I always have problems with them, even in my VIII.

They're definitely nice to have as a luxury item, but I'm sure most people can live wihout them. Also, I would not be a fan of the added weght ontop of our aluminum roof.

Wind deflectors/ Rain guards do a great job venting the cabin

The Sunroof is an option on the MR. If the sunroof is equipped the roof is steel instead of aluminum.

Thread over!

Keep in mind that often with a moonroof/sunroof the car's interior ceiling is lowered.

Here's the proof.

I can't remember where i read about the steel roof if the sunroof option is chosen. But i read it a while ago and it makes sense. It was a reliable news source which also mentioned it equipped on the MR only.

I'm still in debate over whether to get the GSR or MR because of this. I'm saving my money for now, and have a few months to decide. But i love driving manual, but love my sunroof! I have a few months to decide.

Indeed this is correct

Here in canada if you go with the premium package on the MR you get a sunroof.

I wish the car was available already, i've had a deposit down for months :/

Good thing for me is that I have time to wait. I'm ready to buy now, but I'm still happy with my Subie for the time being. I would go for the MR, but I want the manual. The lowered ceiling height and extra weight doesn't bother me.
