Launching your X with a stock clutch

I'm launching my X at 5000 rpm and I can't lift my head off the seat, it pulls like mad. Now, I know that my clutch life will be limited (you can smell the clutch after a hard launch) but I'm upgrading to an ACT soon anyways.

Has anyone else found a good way to launch their X? I've tried using the 2 step at 5500rpm but it just smokes the clutch. 4000rpm and the car bogs down and falls on it's face. What's your experiences?

You gotta find the point in yur clutch an inch before it grabs..you cant just let it out real fast...

let it out until the car starts to kinda roll and then build up the rpms at the same time and slip it around 4000 or 4500rpm while keeping the rpms on the rise (try not to slip the clutch while rpms are on the downfall)

This should lead to a nice smoothe launch without any harsh wheel hop or clutch burnage..

it all just starts out by just learning the car and the point of grabbage on the clutch it shouldnt be some hard reving 2 step launch unless you wanna get some crazy wheel hop and the car feels like its studdering down the road which sucks and you can mess up yur drive train..just practice using the slip method i explained.

Again 4000rpm is perfect for me just cuz im modded and i spool up fast anything over that i've gotten wheel hop but maybe the BLOX engine mount i got fixed that.. i've never driven an x but it cant be much different

launched it at 5k one time just for kicks...then it bogs. i think i read somewhere in the manual that if u rev or try to launch over 5k the engine limits the power so you dont mess up the tranny.

4 dollars a gallon is not cheap . yea I know, I bought the car under the assumption that you only live once. I don't have the money for all the clutches to just mess around like that. I have plenty of fun in the car.

Use the factory 2 step. 5K RPM is a lil low. 5.4-5.8K RPM is better

You have to find the perfect balance off dropping it.. If you let it our to fast, then you bog. If you let it out too slow, then you burn clutch.

As soon as you get it, its not hard to do.
