^ I don't know where people are getting $42k base (unless it's with markup), 'cuz CharlesJ has previously said around $38k is most likely & MotorTrend has estimated pricing at $38,640 (including destination fees).

The east coast will be bad. Right now, a GSR without any packages or accessories goes base for $38K. Needless to say if I get an MR I'm ordering it from California. It'll be that much cheaper.

You will be slowed by smog spec emissions if you buy in CA compared to any others.... Look into it, I am to lazy to do it for you.

I thought the Evo X was prepped with the same emissions for all 50 states? Maybe I'm wrong. Where would I look that up?

I cannot officially say that is the price, but give or take a few bucks, thats the price (38,640). Has more standard option than the GSR, but navi is not one of them. Loaded out to the max should be somewhere in the 41-42 range

If they come out with a manual transmission for the MR, I'll be all over it. Otherwise, I'm stickng with the GSR.

I'm not comfortable driving the Evo as a DD anymore since it's really in race prep right now (aka all covered with stickers ). I worry about it being a vandalism/theft target, so I wanted something more low-key. Besides, I've owned other BMWs and they actually get better the more you drive them as long as you maintain them properly.

And I didn't get raped on it, I got it for too good a deal

God I'm so sick of hearing that they're on their way. (This is not directed towards you). Just venting to the General public.

I hate waiting!!!

Screw that. I'm looking for $36,999.
