tight! i got rear ended...
bumper trim, bumper cover, muffler all seem to be in need of replacement.
so its looking at like $1300 worth of parts just from what i is visible.
bring it to the dealer tomorrow and get the ball rolling...
at least i have 10k miles on the car so it doesn't seem that new to me anymore.
woooo what a way to start a friday!

I have bad luck with getting rear ended by drivers who are not paying attention. I feel for you man, hopefully you are rolling around soon with a fixed EVO.

I feel for you. My car before I got the X, 2000 camaro ss was a magnet for idiots. Was hit 5 different times, each time only required paint. First time was within a week of owning the car.

hell I got backed into in a parking lot yesterday at McDonalds. haha. She was just backing up and kept on coming, I was like *honk, honk Honkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk* *smash*. Very minimal damage tho, just a knick in the paint. I was like "Its cool, I work at a bodyshop. I just wanna get breakfast, just go ahead and leave"

my last truck got hit by an uninsured illegal alien before I made the first payment. I really don't want to look at my evo the same way knowing it had a repainted panel or whatever. I could live with a new bumper cover though, usually those are easy to make look as good as new.
My friend who thinks he can drive, but can't, did his best to pack it into the back of a 300c Chrysler when I let him test drive it, but thankfully, the X will not under steer and I'm happy to report the stability control works fine when an idiot gets behind the wheel of one of these cars.
