First it was the 02 then 04 then now the 08 lancers want their cars turned into an evo..sorry to burst ur ballon but that is not going to happen for ya unles u got a sponsor or a lot of cash..the evo is in every way better than the lancer and we all know that but we just dont want to admit it..well u can at least add a turbo and call it a day wich will give u a decent power and a smile on ur face.

 

These kinds of threads are so annoying. yep, it's possible to do it given enough effort and money. no, it's not possible to do for the the same cost of an evo X. the only reason to do this type of thing would be to save money somewhere like initial entry price or insurance rates. neither would offset the price of the conversion in this case, so there is no logical reason to do so.

 

Just get an Evo dude. It's a lot less of an hassle to get the real Evo then a conversion.

 

Get an RA ... Why do the RA's have sweeter tail lights than the Evos?! They are painted black instead of the ugly red on the Evos....
Does the Lancer GTS share the same lights as the Evos?

 

same headlights same tail lights..evo gts share pretty much all exterior accessory parts such as wing fitment tail lights headlights the evo just has the widebody kit..techincally you could take a evo bumper and put it on a regular lancer and it would it..just look extremly odd because the loss of the widebody..

which is what i like about the evo mitsu made the right choice by adding the widebody..makes it look so much more agressive..

 

Sure you can. If you have enough money you can make it better than an Evo. But with that money you might as well buy a 100K car. If you do this you will be the dumbest person in Evo M history. Good luck with that.

 

OK...lets calm down a bit. Answer is no. It is not a bolt on affair, and if it were, it would cost far more than buying an evo anyways. I am closing the thread
