EVO X Leak from transfer case

Sup guys, I got a 08 EVO X GSR. I freakin love the car. Handles good, the power is decent but all thats going to to change So I go in to install my HKS Legamax, and when my car in on the lift I hear you got a leak. I'm thinking that cant be my car, it only has 800 miles on it. So I sit down and the mechanic calls me in. I'm like great what now. So we take off the ridiculous plastic grommets to get off the plastic protective covering. No oil leak from my oil pan but coming from my transfer case. Not a bad leak, but a very slow leak. So this ruins my install of the HKS and head over to the dealer. They tell me they dont know how to fix it... So they said that since the Evo X is so new, they would have to call techline to see how to go about this. I'm like, well, I can show you where the leak is coming from and you dont know how???? So anyways, my car has been at the dealer since yesterday, dont know if they contacted techline yet, and obviously I've shouldve known for the first gen Evo X....

Well, my car has two issues that I went to the dealership for, the sputter/lag/quick rev deal while in peak turbo range. Also I am getting feedback on the lighter adapter that powers my zune. The lighter adapter is obviously common ground, and the hesitation is common. They told me the same thing, "we'll have to call the techline, and call you back on monday." I'm hoping they'll be more helpful in the future.

LOL @ not knowing how to fix a leak. What a bunch of morons. Reminds me of the "Evo Trained" mechanic that said he didn't use "torque things" except on aftermarket wheels because nothing else needs them. By "torque things" he meant torque wrenches. Really scary...

You get what you pay for. Dealers pay techs peanuts. I worked for BMW as a tech, and had to pull teeth to get $24 an hour, and thats BMW. I can't imagine they pay any better at Mitsu.

I smell a lemon lawsuite coming on. Hearing as how Mitsu techs are somewhat on the "dumb" side, how often do people's cars stay at the dealerships for extended times?
