its really not all that bad looking. the duct tape actually match the color of my car and i trimmed it to size. i took it out cause it stop raining but next time ill take pictures. anyone with an CAI should really take a look at how close the vent is to the filter, directly above it! imagine is if it pours nonstop! holly cow!

You should've used painter's tape. Works just as good and doesn't leave the sticky residue behind.

you mean duct tape?

and the water does drip right onto the air box when it rains. dont think i would be so ghei and tape it though just won't put a CAI.

I drive around with a custom car cover that has clear parts for the windows so i can see out ... the only real problem i have is getting in and out of the car ... I don't mind because its my car but my dates don't like the idea of having to crawl under the cover to get in and out

funny you ask. i havent wash my car ever since i got it and its been almost a month! ive been using the quick wax wipe. wax it every other day

You would pretty much have to submerge the intake to do any damage. Rain and car washes won't hurt it.
