HAHAHA , I thought I was the only moron that did this !!! LOL I take my X down a dirt road near my house everyday as I'm leaving to work - fun isn't it ?

 

The X's are not the rally car's of prior years. It just doesn't look right in the dirt!

 

Yes it is! The wash afterwards sucks though cause of all the dirt/grass that gets under the rear bumper. Where i did this though is not much room for errors, either hit a post or fall into a small ditch. I'll see when i'm able to post the video in streetfire.

 

I take it your not to concerned about the paint!

clean your air filter or get a new one....and then go do that....and remove the air filter!

I think youll stop having 'fun' when your replacing/cleaning your filter every 2000 miles....and if a lil pebble gets through to the MAF...UH OH.....not to mention having to respray your car at 10000 miles!

To each his own, i wouldnt do it in my car....

Well , for me its been almost 10,000 miles of beating the **** out my X while having tons of fun and I wouldn't change ANYTHING !! I got the car to use it for my own enjoyment and I love to see others that are out to have a great time and do not take any car too serious and actually get a car to have fun with it and not just leave it parked .

Where I run my car I have tree's on either side of me and it has like 8 hard turns , I run down this road at around 70 . I've been also trying to make some time to make a vid myself ,let me know when you post .

 

If you had fun doing that go check out your closest RallyCross event. Most fun you can have in these cars.

 

That's how i feel. If i'm paying $500+ a month on car payments, i'm going to enjoy every penny. If i break something, i rather it be from something like this and not just from regular daily driving. My neighbor has the video, so i'm just waiting for him to get back home.

 

While it is fun to enjoy your car, this is the reason I don't buy used performance cars!!
