I haven't even seen an EVO around here... one of my customers said his son's friend has a OB EVO X. His son's name is Pete and drives a G35. Wonder if he's on this forum...

 

I've only seen one X on the road. But other Evo owners I've waved at. And an 08 STI waved to me even.

 

I've seen an evo 8 around here but I didn't wave. I'll do it next time though...

 

lets hope he waves back he should have waved you in the first place, every evo driver should acknowledge each other

 

The EVO community as a whole is much better than the Honda community. I never waved at anyone in my SI cause most of the time I would get the ricer rev or a flyby and a finger. I wave at all EVOs and some STIs, there are plenty around here. Although when I move to Augusta I think I will be one of the few.

 

I'm pretty disappointed. I haven't seen another X on the road since I've gotten mine and I'm in SoCal of all places. I drive everywhere too from San Diego up to Santa Monica. I usually give a thumbs up to all Evo's though and any tastefully modded car, domestic or import, doesn't matter.

 

LOL I was at a party at my friend's house and there were 2 Evo X's in the driveway and one parked in the street.

I would always give the friendly wave to evo and sti owners. most high end guys usually give me a (look at this punk with a big wing and loud exhaust) look...as my co-pilot proceeds to moon him while i give him the bird

yea, my 1st "street race" ( which I don't advocate btw) was against a 996 turbo, you'd think a guy in a Porsche would be more mature but they screamed vulgarities at next stoplight.... My evo 8 was barely broken in and only had a intake which really didnt do anything anyways.... So sad

i'm in northern va as well. if you see a red gts feel free to wave and i'll happily wave back. i don't expect many evo owners to wave at just a lowly lancer though

 

hmm.. Alexandria huh? I'm surprised you haven't seen me yet. I'm all up and down Duke Street everyday. ...now there is a red gts that i see at my apartment complex... but that'd be straight freaky if that was you. lol

Im in Jersey I have not seen an X on the road yet and I drive 160 miles a day. I would trade my 9 in a sec but the X to expensive. I see lots of em on the showroom floor
