Idea, Sell my supra and come back to the Evo World
It all depends on what you want, I sold my built 1JZ Supra few years back due to financial reasons.
3 years later down the road, I have my EVO, an M5 and a 600RR. I still miss my Supra though, it's an entirely different beast than the evo. Where I live it wasn't practical ( and at the time affordable) to have a 500HP RWD car so I parted ways
with it.
Later on down the road I will have another one, in definatly. It would make a nice mate for the evo.
Just my $.02

i had a similar decision to make when getting my new car. i love the supra, esp 93-97 model, and i love the new X.
it came down to mileage really, and price. if im goin to pay a lot for a car i want it to be new and with LOW miles.
really its ultimately your decision. i went with the X due to miles and practical reasons. i need somethin to put stuff in, the supra didn't have enough room for me. i have a big black lab who loves to ride, he barely fit in my eclipse, so the evo was the way to go. weigh out what you do with your car on a regular basis to decide if you want to step up to an X, or stay in the supra. the X will also probably mean high car payments, or a new car payment if you have your supra paid, so your bills will take more from your income. just dont jump into the fire without your fire extinguisher.

Mind over matter!
Been awhile since I posted, but I have had both at the same time (EVO IX not X). And, I ended up selling them both to prepare for something else in the near future. The bottom line is, there are some of us (me included) that never seem to be satisfied with the cars we have. The only solution is to sell the car or keep modifying it. The question is, do you have the coin to keep selling cars after a few years or to continue modding one just to keep you happy. Figure out what you want out of a car and then buy or keep. But the change bug will eventually get to you again. Cars are an expensive hobby.
I say this is a good idea and I support the idea
I would keep the supra. I still have my 94 RX7 TT with 400+ hp. There are none where i live but i take good car of it. Keep the supra and buy an EVO.
Sounds weird coming out of the mouth of someone owning a Ralliart.
