New ad agency for Mitsu...maybe this will help?

Not sure if this is the right place for this, since there isn't a general Mitsu discussion section.
Mitsu hired a new ad agency today. This is their 3rd ad agency in the past 4 years. Hopefully this new ad agency can help Mitsu's marketing department get sales, operations and marketing back to where they were in the early 2000s.
But, it can only help so much. Mitsu needs a stronger product line up. Better quality. Need to develop better interiors with better materials. And, most of all, they need to fix their dealership network. A new ad agency can't do all of that.

Actually, I like the Mitsu line except for the Galant which is too bland.....of course most of the Toyotas and Hondas look bland now to which might explain why the Galant sales are up.
The Eclipse needs a face lift but is one of the only sports coupes left in that price range, the Lancer line is solid and their SUVs are stylish and have car like gas milage.
I have thought their marketing is not bad, just needs to diversify. Right now it only appeals to teens-20's or professionals who want a fast AWD car. They need the soccer moms and the 40-50's crowd who have more money to spend.

They need to clean up the dealerships and service departments. Any mitsu dealer up here by us is ran down, not maintained nicely and the serviced departments are always horrible
On top of that, our district service manage is a complete A$$hole and pushes so hard to not warranty anything and blow people off. He has ruined there image by us. thats why the # of dealers on my area has dropped to 1/2 over the past 5 years

their ads now suck. they make our car look cheap to laypeople because they advertise the evo's image and then introduce the 'lancer at 13k'. it's a shame that they can't even get a damn commercial right.
Every Mitsu dealer I've been to is very small and run down - they are easily the smallest car dealers around me. The size can be obviously be attributed to their lackluster sales volumes, but the fact that they are run down is inexcusable. They definitely need more than just a new ad agency, obviously the previous 2 haven't helped.
On another note, I have been seeing a lot of 2008 Lancers on the road lately, so maybe Mitsu is headed in the right direction (except for the Eclipse looking more and more ridiculous, IMO).
