No, the patches are amazing! They were the other secret to my success. Placebo or not, they still work.

Thanks to everyone for showing props! I really don't think i could have done it if i wasn't so obsessed with my car.

I work with a radiation oncologist and I will tell you that I am sick and tired of seeing people come in with lung cancer. There is an 80-90% association of smoking with cancer. Nothing else matters in life when you develop lung cancer. No matter what, they will die from it. It is so preventative. PLEASE STOP SMOKING PEOPLE!!!Congratulations, it is a major feat!

I don't believe patches are a placebo for a minute. If I ever fell asleep with a patch on I'd have the most f&^%*& up dreams. I googled it, and there are TONS of people experiencing the same thing, it's due to the fact that it's supplying your body with nicotine while you sleep, which most people don't get (I know a guy who dips/chews in his sleep, that's disgusting). So in turn you would get REALLY vivid dreams, it was amazing. Alas the patch did not help me quit, I am weak

Congrats on the smoking cessation! Your coronaries will love you for it. Now get that heart rate up 3 x week, for at least 20 minutes, driving the Evo!
