I was looking in my engine bay to figure out where a rattle was coming from, when I noticed that there are two similar looking nuts here, one of which has a bolt and one of which does not. Should something be here? Can you check on your cars please?

 

MM i would check on my but my car is in the shop getting some work done to it. But i would like to no this as well.

Nothing goes there. I remember from the time I was removing those parts. Nothing is needed there, it won't rattle.

 

I'll run and check real quick. Gimme two minutes.

 

Nothing goes there. That's a good place to mount a boost controller though.

Same on mine. Bolt in one, but not the other.....

 

Exhaust heatshield under the car is a common place that rattles.
