install boost gauge
hey guys i have a ww X and i install a boost gauge . its the prosport 52 mm elec. its a nice gauge . but when i was doing the install i realize every interior part its so cheap . for being a $30+ car i figure they would use better parts the plastic mat. feels and looks cheap . the seat are falling apart. by the wanna be carbonfiber insert the little staples they use . i saw a rubber band holding a harness on the steering wheel . found some cut zip ties by the fuses box . the cover under the glove compartment its just attached by two little clips . dont get me wrong i love how the car feels and drives and being my first evo its a fun car to drive but after doing the install on the gauge insted of being a little proud of my gauge i was dissappointed of my cheap interior .
another thing i discover was when u out the windows down it make this noise i guess the rubber seals dry up and when u put the window down it makes the nosie . but man its fast i drove it last night on an empty highway hit 140 first time i drive the car that fast . ill post pictures of my gauge i put it on the steering c.

OT but no seat problems yet on mine.
I'm about to be purchasing my boost gauge and getting a custom pillar pod to mount mine in. Where did you mount you boost gauge and how (single pod, on the dash, on the steering column, glovebox?) I'd like to see some pics please of the mounting location for sure. ~Trent
