4k miles and no issues here. that sucks man, but you'll get it worked out. I suspect the dealer is to blame for this...

I've had both flashes and my idle is not rock solid, especially with the ac on. It floats between 1k and 500rpm. It actually stalled on me yesterday (combination of me being tired and it dipping at the wrong time).

As far as your dash not working and being scratched up, this is definitely the dealer. You're in socal. Anything else goes wrong, go to the source, south coast.

Wow, that is horrible. I feel bad for you. My EVO X fluctuates and idles poorly also. My EVO XIII did the same thing until I opened up the exhaust and intake. I think they run these cars super rich expecting you to mod.

The scratch to the dash is unacceptable. They probably screwed the wiring up on your car when they replaced the cd player. The mechanics are screwing your car up really bad. I would talk to the manager. Sounds like you have a short in your system after they replaced the radio.

thanks for backing up guys!
I actually got the car from scm, only reason why i didn' get too upset was because i gave credit for their good service. although they messed up the dash, i am pretty sure they will do something about it once i tell them. i made an appointment on saturaday for the cluster replacement. i will probably complain a little bit and ask for full inspection. hope everything works out.

damn that sucks.

i have no reflashes, but after 16,000 miles i rarely have idle or stall issues (stock filter, stock exhaust)

ive also had no problems with any of dash/radio items.

hope your dealership doesnt keep screwing you around.

Awesome

There are a handful of VERY good dealers (SCM being one of them).
