how do you know that the oil change itself wasn't what caused the increase in power? You might have essentially changed the brands and weights of the oil, but if your initial oil was in desperate need of a change, then you have to take into account that by changing the oil alone you might see an increase in HP - even if you changed it with the same brand and weight oil.
God knows everytime i do an oil change i can feel the difference while driving my evo.

Given the increase from the larger FMICs for the X heat definitely plays a part in the power the X generates.
I wonder if they did the tests the other way around would the 5 hp be there?
