Hey!
Just wanted to introduce myself to the EVO X community and say hello! I am not an EVO owner yet, but as soon as I sell my 06 mazda 3, I will!
I've never had any experience in driving EVOs since they're new to Canada and dealers don't allow test drive and I don't have any friends who have one.
However, I have been reading on this forum for the past couple of weeks and found some very useful information that helped me make my mind on choosing to buy this car. Thanks to you guys!!
I was hesitating between the BMW 135 and the EVO X GSR as my next car. It became obvious to me that what I needed to get was the EVO. Of course, the bimmer is more luxurious and if I had enough money heck, I'd buy both! But I'm a driver guy and since I can only afford one, then it's gotta be the EVO! Plus, I'm from Quebec so there's the snow issue. I'd rather have a 300hp all wheel drive car than that 135 spinning around all winter long. Also, if the new Stis didn't have that look, maybe it would have been in my choices, but it's damn clear to me that the EVO is way better looking than the Sti.
My buddy used to have an 06 STi and it sure was alot of fun to drive (and way nicer look)! He then switched for an 07 bmw 335 because he missed the luxury of bimmers... Nice move, but I still prefer his old STi, I liked that aggressive look it had. That's why I like so much the EVO X, what an aggressive looking front end!
