IM thinking about trading my evo Mr 9 for the Evo mr x do u guys think it is a good idea ?

 

I love my ten but I think you'd hate the powerloss and sst coming from what you have. The handling is wicked better though.

 

mods for more power....and depending on where/how you drive, you'll either get used too/like the sst.
I doubt you would regret the trade....imo.

 

The X will have more grip and the SST is amazing. You can also mod the X to be pretty fast with bolt-on's. The only thing that matters is if you want to take the hit on trade in.

 

Keep IX MR IMO. You will suffer a big trade in loss especially on IX MR

wait for the 09 models at least so all the quirks on first year models can be worked out.

Honestly, I think it's a poor decision financially for the average guy to trade in his 06 for an 08. I'd at least wait till 09. Wait 3-4 years and it's not quite as bad. Of course, if you have money to throw down the toilet then you won't regret trading the IX for the X. Everyone thinks the power differences are so drastic. It's only like a .3 sec slower than a IX. As long as the IX is in good working order and the warranty is still in tact, I'd wait for 09-10.
