Don't want to drill bumper for plates... options?

So I just picked up my RR GSR over the weekend, and the dealership didn't install the front license plate bracket because I bought it from a state that didn't require it. My state does (MD).

I'd rather not drill the bumper and install it. My roommate has a IX and he has little suction cups that hold his plates to his front windshield... kind of inconspicuous but maybe someone had a better idea?

BTW- Anyone know a good source for small suction cups? My roommate forgot where he got them..

Zip tie it to the side of the front grille mesh.

I would just leave it off. Or, if you really want to put it on, maybe some double sided tape?

I made the dealer magnetic set up... that project is somewhere in boxes in storage.

I bought a few car/auto magnets and the magnet license frame off ebay.

And had a safety wire attached, so no one can run off with it or loose it completely from a pothole.

Why are you making things so difficult, simply order a new license plate bracket from another dealership if that one doesn't have any in stock.

I think the hideaway bracket that folds underneath the front bumper is the best solution. It was in one of the other hundreds of threads on this topic.

Legally, does it have to be the actual plate?

In Europe, I remember seeing a vinyl sticker replica of the plate on the front bumper of certain sports cars.

You could have a vinyl color copy made and see if the cops care.

South Carolina is a one plate state. In fact, I could saw off my exhaust system and still be legal.

in hungary , EU country for those who dont know it, not an island.
The Sticker license plate is illegal. The plate is a state property. Or something like that. So it is not yours. You cant modify it or replace it.
