Trade-in GSR for MR
its when u buy new and then do as this thread states that u get bent over with out the booty lube. plus going to from wrx to evo is a big upgrade.
and no im not a salesman at a dealer. evo
ftw
I haven't been on these forums for long but I'm going to give my opinion anyhow
.
I'm going to be pretty blunt since this thread is not directed at any one individual.
I can't think of any logical reason to trade in a less than 6 month old car for another new car other than the old saying - "more money than sense". If someone wanted an MR then they could have waited a few months for it vs. losing all the money on trading in/selling their "new" GSR. Frankly, I'm older than most people here, have a very successful career to date, and I have the money to throw around but I'd be embarrassed to tell anyone that I'd wasted money like this. I'd go hide in a corner and keep this dark secret to myself.
But hey that's me...enjoy your new car! Whoever you are!

I have done this once....Because i was not happy with the car that I bought and wished that i had bought another one. I decided not to live with a car for 5 yrs that I was going to feel bad about everytime I drove to work. I had the first car for about 3 months, was able to qualify for a bunch of rebates for the second car after I had talked the dealer below invoice. I figure I "lost" around 2 to 3 thousand on the whole deal. So I looked at it that I rented the car for 3 months for that price and ended up with a car that I liked.
