I haven't been on these forums for long but I'm going to give my opinion anyhow .

I'm going to be pretty blunt since this thread is not directed at any one individual.

I can't think of any logical reason to trade in a less than 6 month old car for another new car other than the old saying - "more money than sense". If someone wanted an MR then they could have waited a few months for it vs. losing all the money on trading in/selling their "new" GSR. Frankly, I'm older than most people here, have a very successful career to date, and I have the money to throw around but I'd be embarrassed to tell anyone that I'd wasted money like this. I'd go hide in a corner and keep this dark secret to myself.

But hey that's me...enjoy your new car! Whoever you are!

That is why you have extra money laying around....Because you know how to live with the decisions you make. You have the patience and understanding that many people refuse to have. I think the same way you do. Anyways, I'd rather have the X GSR over the X MR any day. I like to do my own shifting.

So that he ^ can buy a used GSR and not worry about it being a bad decision... Since the prices will be so low.

Super stupid, but who knows, maybe the MR came out and they couldn't resist it. I've only had my car for a year and I'm pretty tempted to see if I could get into an '08 Sti without oweing more money than I do now.

When you have a long commute the 6th gear on the MR comes in handy, the tranny is also better in traffic. I suggest you drive one...Yeah, I traded my GSR for an MR, what?!

Like he had stated, his post wasn't directed towards anyone, it was his opinion, nothing more. It was a logical opinion at that, that's all I'd have to say.
