well to tell you the truth i bought my evo 8 without a warranty cause i thought in that moment that this was a super tough car,
but with the x what do you guys think
but with the x what do you guys think
I also heard that the X GSR had some kind of "ECU problem"....So Mitsubishi had some kind of recall for the X GSR. I've heard this happened recently. That means anything could happen with the new X MR.
Yeah my SEL kept coming on in my evo GSR and I had to take it to the dealership twice. My opinion is that you don't buy the MR without the warranty.

to clarify more on my story
the dealer here in my country is gonna buy the evo mr from a dealer in miami
but according to mitsu japan they can only give the warranty for cars that are in the USA if the USA exports an evo the warranty is lost so this is why my dealer is holding back on not to buy me the car.
mitsu japan should stand behind the products they make.
i like so much the car but without a warranty is very hard for me to buy it.

a) No matter who buys the car, the Mitsubishi warranty should be transferable within the warranty mileage
b) I can't imagine that you'll find any "high mileage" MR's since they've only been on the market for what, 45 days or something?
c) No warranty=no dealie
One other thing though - if you say that the dealer isn't a genuine Mitsubishi dealer, how would you service the car for a warranty claim in the event that you had a warranty? I don't think that they would even have a certified technician if they don't have a warranty.
Yeah, as others said - don't buy a new car without a warranty.
For cryin' out loud, there could be a bolt missing that could cause some catastrophic failure of something in the first five miles. If you didn't have a warranty, you'd be SCREWED!
