Upgrading an Evo X MR
I know this has been asked before, but I'd like some personal thoughts.
I've been debating on which cars to get, but I think im pretty set to buy an evo x, instead of a 335i, or audi of some sort. I will definetely be buying used, i have around a 35k budget.
Do you guys think I should buy a pre-upgraded/tuned evo x MR, or buy a stock one and bring it to a garage myself? (I am very new to the car scene, dont know much about upgrading)
My goal is about 450-500 HP on normal fuel, is that feasible with about 5-8k$. (Hoping i can grab an 08 mr for around 27-28k)
I'm also not sure if I want to go with MR or GSR yet, please help me decide. I want this as an everyday car, maybe even as a family car. I dont know if manual is my thing yet, i still drive auto.
Thanks.

Don't buy an MR if you want to build a lot of power, buy a GSR.
Not only is the GSR cheaper, it isn't limited to the torque limitations that is plagued by all MR SST owners.
Power - GSR
DD with an enjoyable but limited amount of power - MR
You would have to drop a butt load of cash to get an MR to 500 vs a GSR to 500, Just sayin.....
