its not single stage. its base/clear. but yes, its pretty ****ty.

is it the Evo that mitsu goes cheap on? Cause my lancer and my uncle Ra was somewhat better made.

 

Mitsubishi's paint quality sucks. For no reason, the paint on the back bumper of my RalliArt is peeling and they said they would only cover it if it totaled more than x.xx amount of dollars to fix. **** their warranty.

 

My WW w/o the aero kit is doing the same thing. I took it to the dealer and they told me to buy some touch-up and deal with it (in nicer words, of course). Like previously stated, take your time and it will look just like the crappy mitsu paint that came on your car.

Poor paint isn't just a Mitsubishi problem it's industry-wide. The new STI's are having much worse paint chipping issues than this.

Take a look at some of the pics. It may make you feel better about your decision. There's one car that has major rust already.
