UFO do you have any more pics of your dash from further away in the car? I was planning on getting the white Defi Racer but the red is looking pretty nice...

whites are definately the way to go on an evox. i am running the blue racers in my car (05bby 8) and have a blue overlay on the gauges i got off ebay it looks much better than the factory orange-red . only problem is i wired in blue leds in theacd switch and hvac controls but the blue is very royal blue or indigo and the gauges are more towards teal.i will post some pics later.by the way i like the racer gauges better more straightforward to install and alot cheaper.i am running the defi egt and 30 psi boost on in an autometer steering column gauge pod.i have a water temp oil press and oil temp in an autometer triple gauge pod that goes where the pocket is below the hvac controls.you cannot see any of them from behind the car like the triple pods they are kind of ricey in my opinion.my 10cents

white definitely looks better, matches the numbers on our gauges.

^Awesome - thanks a lot! The red gauge does look really good with the rest of the dash. Hmm, red or white...

I know its been a while for this thread.

But I think you can't go wrong with either amber or the white.

Only prob I see with the racer series, I want an audible alert like the defi link system.

Only other problem is they stopped making the 52mm gauges. I think 60mm is way to big.

I think im just going to have to scarifice a little and just get the racer guages.......

But still have the problem with where to mount

Mount it to the left of the info display where UFO has it, it's the perfect spot. That's where I have mine and all you cut out of view is 8k+ RPMs which you don't need anyway. I'm usually looking at the tach when taking the car to its limit, so it's easy to glance at the boost gauge if I wanted to.

Or mount it to the right where you'll only cut out the high end of the speedometer, which you also don't need to see.

The white matches the stock gauges so perfectly it's ridiculous. I'm so happy that I wound up buying the white Racer boost gauge, although the red does look pretty nice too.

Thanks for your input, I was thikning the same thing with the white. And im prob gonna have to double side tap it over the tach like u said.

I like everything clean, I dont want to see any wires or anything, We'll have to wait a lil bit longer untill someone comes out with a nice gauge pod.

Maybe I will do it if I knew were to begin
