New to EVO
New to EVO
Hello!
I have just leased an EVO X and I am excited of the experience. My previous car was an 2005 Audi S4; it had 4 more cyl and it felt faster but it was also very nose-heavy. I am looking forward to learn to maximize the output from these 4cyl/turbo.
I also have a few questions...please:
1. The rear spoiler impacts the rear visibility quite badly. Will it be any consequences if I just remove it, install 4 plugs in the truck lid mounting holes?
2. Had anybody experienced the Mitsubishi Lease? What are the turn-in conditions? They have a pretty steep turn -in fee [ 595$]...any particualr rules about the tires on the car? [ for instant, audi was asking that all 5 tires were to be same size and made by the same brand; and there were only 3 brands of tires manuf. taht were accepted...].
The OEM Mitsu tire is the Yokohama advan..and it is 320$/pc and they have a wear rating of 180. If they have the same rule, it may be cost efficient just to install some other tires, almost as good performance wise, twice as durable but at 1/2 of the price [ some Falken/ or Kumhos]
Thanks

Congrats on the new car. No one really leases this car so we don't really have the answer your looking for. As for the wing your question was already answered, but you can certaintly call the dealer just to get some clarification on the matter. Once you know you can post it so the rest of us to know.
lease the X buy the XII. just return it to OEM when you return it and all should be good. i wouldn't worry about things like tires because they can't expect nor would they want you to bring it back in a few years later with the same tires. run two sets of advans down and bring it back with a set of white walls from the 1930s. they'll love it.
