unable to tap into 12V power

I got an AEM wideband installed, and found a good place to get power from, when i tested it, it worked.

Then (I'm stupid) I cut the red and black wire at the same time and caused a short, which caused the accesory fuse to blow.

This picture is of a wire I found behind the glove compartment:

I found that the accesory fuse was blown and replaced it with a spare one, but the AEM gauge is not powering up anymore.

Any clues?

In case anyone needs this info, this runs off the same fuse as the cd player

There is only one problem, it always has power, key or not...which sux for my gauge.

I snagged power by jamming a 14 gauge wire down one of the fuse spades for the "gauges" fuse which is only on with ignition. I placed an extra fuse inline just to be safe and powerd a few of my accessories that way. Oddly the sunroof fuse was installed on my car, and the power was live on that all the time so that was no good for me. I'm still looking for a fuse that is only powered when the headlights are on that is under the dash. I would rather not have to send a wire through the firewall just to power the light on my boost gauge, LOL.

Check the fuse behind the panel to the lower left of the steering column. If your radio doesn't work either then its probably the fuse that went out. ALso, your cig lighter/accessory plug might be blown too which is a separate fuse.
