Is it just me...

Is it just me or do you find yourself following about 3+ car lenghts behind the car in front of you and then silently cursing at them for not having mud flaps?

I guess I'm just **** that way.

mud flaps? what are those?
lol

i tailgate 99.9993 % of the time i can usually count the person ahead of me's hair.

if your bumper isnt on the other guy's rear bumper you aint driving close enough.

plus it saves gas by following close. :P

yes, i definitely do this (what OP said, not tailgate, although I do that also. Depends if I'm in a rush or having a nice relaxing ride with my baby).

I do this in my cobra, though mostly I stop the gas, let the *** wiggle a lil and rip past them while showing them a finger that doesnt normaly bear a ring.

why? because i've found that 2/3 cars back gets the rocks right into your windshield.

If this isn't your first mitsu you'll be agreeing with the OP completely. Your front bumper will be ruined in no time tailgating. Unfortunately, I'm always riding behind someone. I try to give them space but they usually are going so damn slow. I just wish our paint had more a chip gaurd in it.
