Evo 10 has the turbo at the back of the motor, and the prior gens have it in front.
One wouldn't take his car in to have an intercooler pipe installed, and pick the car up with the turbo now in the front. The "facts" as stated are incorrect. Simple as that

Maybe you are just looking at something you think is the turbo? Im still learning the basics aswell so im no expert but I think switching the turbo to the front would cost a load of money and take plenty of time. The engine bay is cramped as is in the front.

Good call malves85. I am a total newb and I apologize for wasting your guys' time. The turbocharger on my friends EVO was located in the rear, just lower than my own that is why I never caught on...I really should have followed the Intercooler pipe.

yeah i don't know of a dealer installing a UIP and BOV. but you can see how that could be mistakened by someone that isn't familiar with turbos.
