1st track run in the X!!

well tonight i finally made it to the track at 2400 miles on the X.I did 5 runs, 3 runs disapointing, but a step in a very stong direction. I will post time slips in the morning, but heres the just of it...

Run 1. 14.38@99.77 1/4
Run 2. 13.95@102.04 1/4
Run 3. 13.31@105.62 1/4
Run 4. 14.61@93.97 1/4
Run 5. 14.47@106.68 1/4

Theres only room for improvement from here on out!!!!

Hey at least you got that 13.3 run in so you kinda no what your car can do. Sounds like you need to work on that launch or shifting. you will get the hang of it. you can only get better.

the last 2 runs i just jumped into it on some hot runs, didnt let the clutch cool off or anything, the 4th run the damn dude lining me up distracted me by telling me to move and i missed the light sequence, thats when i hot ran it to run 5 and as i was lined up we sat there for like 5 min till they gave us sequence to go an when i went to launch, car just popped outta first so i had to play catch up, but overall im happy with cars performance

Think its more of a driver/clutch issue. His trap speed is almost 107mph, that's great for being on stock tune with almost no mods.

Compared to what? A stock 8 or 9 is not that much faster than an X in a straight line. I checked my stock slips and my 8 was not tremendously faster than my X MR in a straight line. Throw in some twisties and well....
