Night and Day Difference!! With BR Stages 1-3

I Bought the car about 3 months ago and drove it stock until about 2 weeks ago.... This car didn't even have the dealer flashes so it had the missing and jerkyness in the high RPMs from the overly rich tune.... I then called up the guys at Buschurs for some help. I decided to purchase there stages 1-3 with a "Off Road Pipe"... Whoa what a difference The car Sounds amazing maybe a little loud with the testpipe and their exhaust but I love it!! I was a little late on my order so I was unable to get the custom tuning from AL when he was at the shop doing tuning but he was nice enough to take 10-15 minutes to load in the mail-in reflash right in the parking lot of buschurs instead on having to wait on the mail... The car now peaks boost right around 24-26 psi of boost tapering down to about 15 just with ECU control... It pulls all the way to Rev limit very strong and smoothly! Unfortunaly I tried the antifoulers or nonfoulers on the rear O2 sensor in the testpipe with no luck worked for about 3 hours.... Only downside is the light no difference in performance!! The fit and finish was awesome as well!!Big Thanks to the BR guys: Jarrod, Dave, Trent and AL!!! I got a few pics before and afters.. here they are:

BTW!! Any questions on Buschur Racing check out their website www.buschurracing.com

Nice! Did you use just one anti-fouler or two? Sounds like you used two.

I'm looking to do the exact same thing to my car. So how does it feel, I'm now its faster but give some good descriptions using your butt dyno. Is the exhaust to loud? Drone? I'm surprised it tapers to 15 psi and not to 18 psi or something in that neighborhood.

As far as the antifoulers I used two drilled the first one out then just screwed on the second..

I Removed the mesh to see what it would look like and I liked it this way... Much easier to keep the bugs out of her teeth this way also!!

The butt dyno..... Well like the title says night and day difference the car pulls all the way to 7500rpm like a freight train even with the boost falling off to around 15-18psi it still makes good power all the way up!!

As far as the exhaust I love how it sounds!! people have told me it is loud.... So for me to tell you if you were to buy the exhaust with the testpipe you would probably think it is loud... On the highway which has only been maybe 10 minutes I don't think it is loud... I say it is louder if you were to put a high load on the engine in a low rpm like say 55mph in 5th and just accelerate to 65mph it tends to get loud like a deep growl. Under full throttle I don't think its bad either... My Idea would be for someone to just buy the catback and then see how it sounds.... if you don't think it is loud then you could order the testpipe afterwards .... besides there is no fix for the CEL yet so you will be drivin around with the light....

I wish Dave would put every part he has available up on buschurracing.com !!! I got stages 1,2,&3 installed at Buschur Racing, but there is no off road pipe, no high flow cat, no downpipe, or O2 housing available on their web site, so I didn't ask about them when having the other parts put on! I ordered an O2 housing eliminator downpipe, test pipe (for summer use) and high flow cat (winter use) from ultimate racing... wish I could have gotten them from Dave.

^^ Thanks DocCola

I think the reason they don't have it up on their website is because they have no fix for the CEL yet and they prolly don't want to sell a part that will cause it to come on.... Once they have a fix it will probably be added.

That looks awesome. The Buschur intercooler required cutting though didnt it?

^^ No no not any cutting other than a little bracket on the inside of the bumper beam they provide spacers for the install no where near the cutting that was involved on the VIII or IX to install their race core
