aww man you should have come over to chat. it was just the lower IC pipe that blew off. I was really pissed it ruined everyones session though, sorry about that

here is a shot my friend took of me getting a free ride off the track.

Here are some vids of the 3rd session on Sunday. My buddy Dan 'off course' was riding shotgun since the clutch in his s2k bit the dust the day before. I was only really pushing it for a couple laps that session but I did see that guy Pete with the IX MR way back in my rearview for a minute. I tried to slow down some to let him catch up so I could follow his line but he must have pitted in or something...

I don't mean to laugh at you but that's kind of a funny picture.

Hey, at least you didn't dump power steering fluid all over 50% of the track.

Do you know what the specs are on the GG X's Kosei K1's?

The Kosei K1TS 18x9 +20mm offset 19lbs each.

The track was a blast even though I burned through a new set of old tires if that makes sense. They were 2 year old Hankook c70's.

He has a catback, air filter, and was tuning Stance coilovers. He's actually a member here too.

You mean the guy that just posted above you? jk.

Same post time. I wonder if that offset would fit an 8 or 9?

I have the 17's painted flat black which look real good. But getting a wider tire would be nice too.

Hey all, First we want to thank TrackDaze for having us as guest instructors for the weekend..they put on a great event..Our students where cool to work with and Shenendoah is a fun track. We were setting up the X with Stance coilovers and finding all the issues and fixing them..and we were getting the S2000 setup also dialed in and I was trashing a new set of Toyo R1R's for a review. I did chase down Mr. Always in boost..I entered the track as he went under the bridge..and after a few laps I caught up BUT the car behind him was much slower and when the Evo saw me he slowed down noticeably and I tried to pass the car behind him but he did the Tow truck trick and wouldn't give me a point by!!! Plus the guy in my car had never been on track before..and after me pushing to catch the white evo he looked like he had enough "fun" In general, we all had a good time there and meeting all you guys was worth the trip..we got some great data on all the cars and the various setup issues and hope to see you all again on a track somewhere!! Pete

Pete it was good talking to you. you're car seems very well sorted and FAST. Wish I could have followed you around and picked up some pointers... maybe you'll be there next time Trackdaze does Shenandoah in May 09.

I'm going to try and make that Summit event you gave me coupons for with some buddies (might need a couple more if you can spare them). If so, I'd like for you to instruct me.

Ian - pics look good man. Did you get rid of the 996? BTW, way to flaunt that 4 digit tag... I'm still hanging out in low 5 digit land for now, looking for a good 4.

Sold the 997 about two months ago.

Now's a good time to shop tags with the economy and all.

I'm considering pulling the trigger on a set of those. Which ones do you have, and what do you think of them?
