Congrats on the purchase. How does the ssl interior compare to the standard gsr interior. I'm asking because I finally got to test drive a X base gsr and I was completely turned off by the quality and feel of the interior. It made my IX feel like a luxury vehicle. The recaros were comical. Anyway, I'm still a X fan and I hope to be swayed over to eventually sell my IX and "Upgrade" to a X. Oh, and your color is my favorite.

haha, you guys are funny

I had 54,500miles on my evo when I traded it.

As far as interior differences, I have never been in a base GSR, and to my knowledge I didnt think there was a major difference between the interior on the SSS and the base. I love my interior!

thats weird because interior is one of the reasons why I didnt buy the IX!
worst 30k dash in a car. X is not The greatest interior but its a huge step up

Congrats!

I am also looking to move into an X. I sold my IX a month ago and i miss the boost everyday. I finally drove an X today and I love the handling. I am shopping around right now, but im gonna buy soon. That 0% financing is too good to pass up. I guess I'll give Grand Mitsu a shot tomorrow. I really want a black or white X.

PM me your name, so I can use you as a reference. Also pm me the price you got, and salesman you used please so I can haggle better.

Thank You.

One minor quality issue, and an isolated case at that, does not prove overall quality.

I just drove an X today, and it felt much more solid than my IX ever did.

sorry for jumping from 1st post to 3rd page...but did you trade your car with all the mods or did you put it back on stock?
Im thinking of getting X. Someone wants to buy my car for 26K cash and I only owe 16K.(but I put 19K on parts/mods/labor)

What would you consider major? Anyway, I'm not going to go into the whole broken pedal and shifter thing I've read about a few times on here, just making a point.

Honestly though, as I was sliding around in the recaro seats during my test drive trying to find where to put the shifter in that black hole of a gearbox, I thought in the IX everything felt better. Agree to disagree.

Maybe something was wrong with the car you drove, because the one I test drove had a great feeling gearbox.

Whatever. I am not going to start an argument in someone else's thread. Lets just be happy that we are all driving Evos.
